Dr. Richard Ireland

Richard Ireland  (19? - 1992), psychic and entertainer, led a remarkable life and the extremes of his existence illustrate this fact. Dr. Ireland experienced both poverty and wealth. He enjoyed the friendship of many and a measure of fame, yet today his name is relatively unknown. Because of his phenomenal abilities Richard Ireland counseled many celebrities, including film star Mae West. He founded the University of Life Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1960. The church closed after his death, but was later re-opened by his followers.

In 1970 he published a book about himself entitled, "The Phoenix Oracle". His primary home was is Phoenix, Arizona, where he died in the late 1990s. leaving behind a son, Mark.
